Crystal Care

Desert Rose is a soft and delicate mineral, so handle it carefully to avoid chipping or breaking its layered structure.

Keep your Desert Rose dry and avoid soaking it in water, as gypsum can be damaged by prolonged moisture. Clean gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth.

Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners and rough handling. Store separately from harder crystals to help protect its delicate edges and natural formations.

Desert Rose can range from pale cream and ivory through to sandy beige and soft tan. Some pieces may form tight, compact rosettes while others may be more elongated, layered or irregular in shape. The piece you receive will not necessarily have the same shape or petal formation as those shown in the photographs.

Small chips, uneven edges, surface dusting and naturally fragile layers are characteristic of Desert Rose and should not be considered faults.
