How to Use

Place one charcoal tablet in a heat-resistant incense burner filled with a suitable insulating material such as sand. Using long-handled tongs, carefully ignite the edge of the tablet with a flame.

The tablet should begin to spark and ignite across its surface. Allow it to heat thoroughly until it develops a light grey ash coating before carefully adding a small amount of incense resin, powder or other suitable incense material on top.

Add additional incense sparingly as required throughout the burn.

• Place the burner on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface
• Using a layer of sand beneath the charcoal is recommended to help insulate the burner
• Use long-handled tongs when lighting or handling charcoal
• Never hold a charcoal tablet in your fingers while lighting
• Quick-light charcoal may spark during ignition
• Burn only in a well-ventilated area
• Keep away from curtains, paper, fabrics and other flammable materials
• Never leave burning charcoal unattended
• Keep away from children and pets
• Do not touch or dispose of charcoal until it is completely extinguished and cold
• Do not ingest
• Do not use inside an enclosed or poorly ventilated space
