The sacred ritual of purification with smudging comes from many indigenous people around the world.
Smudging is used to purify the body, aura, pets, home, offices and healing rooms.
This organic white sage (salvia apiana) is from the coastal mountains of California.
It is organically grown without artificial fertilisers and is 100% pesticide free.
Known to be the most scared of all the smudging herbs. From time immemorial white sage as such is considered a sacred, cleansing, purifying, and protective plant.
Sage your sacred space and welcome in the beginning of a new day or alternatively cleanse the body, home or workplace.
Also used in ceremonial occasions, including sweat lodges.
Ignite your smudge stick at one end and gently blow to the ember until it starts to smoulder.

Uses:
Use White Sage as a tea for colds, sore throat, sinus congestion, indigestion or heavy menstruation.

Preparation:
As a tea: 1 tsp per cup, steep covered 10 minutes.
For Smudging:
Place loose leaves on a saucer to burn, or burn sticks as is.

Directions for use:
1. Use a Smudge Stick Holder or fireproof bowl to collect the ash and to be heat resistant.
2. Light the Smudge stick
3. hold the flame to the Smudge stick until the Smudge stick can hold its own flame
4. Allow the stick burn for a few seconds
5. blow the flame out
